MWM Studios is the award-winning division behind such groundbreaking, and critically acclaimed projects as 2016's Golden Globe and Academy Award Best Picture nominated “Hell or High Water,” the upcoming action-thriller "21 Bridges" starring Chadwick Boseman, Sienna Miller, J.K. Simmons, Stephan James and directed by Brian Kirk and produced by Joe and Anthony Russo. The recently announced third season of Emmy Award-winning television series “Genius,” which will delve into the life and work of Aretha Franklin, Edward Norton's feature adaptation of Jonathan Lethem's “Motherless Brooklyn,” written, directed and starring Norton with Bruce Willis, Willem Dafoe, and Leslie Mann, in partnership with Warner Bros and Class 5 Films, and “My Spy,” starring Dave Bautista in partnership with STX Studios.
Currently in development at MWM Studios is the biopic “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” with Andrew Garfield set to star opposite Jessica Chastain with Michael Showalter directing, the feature adaptation of Ali Benjamin’s best-selling young adult novel “The Thing About Jellyfish,” and “Code of Silence,” based on the true story of corruption cover-up in the Chicago Police Department. Past releases include “Drive,” starring Ryan Gosling; the 2010 Academy Award-nominated drama “Rabbit Hole,” starring Nicole Kidman; “The Way Way Back,” starring Steve Carell; and the futuristic sci-fi film “Ender’s Game.” MWM Studios also has first look partnerships with creators including David and Jessica Oyelowo.
